The Light Rail on the route of Sinwol~Sinjeong~Mokdong~Dangsan was selected as the preferred construction by Seoul City on June of 2007. It will be started in 2009, promoted as a private investment project, and completed in 2013.
When the 'Mokdong Line' which runs through & goes across Yangcheon Gu and transfers to Line 2 & Line 5 with 10.87㎞ of length having 12 stops is completed, it's expected that public transportation condition of Sinwol and Sinjeong areas around Southern Circulation Road will improve significantly and ease traffic jam in the common congestion areas of Mokdong Central District & Mokdong APT complex. | | |
