Yangcheon Gu was selected as 'Special Bicycle District' by Seoul City in 2004 in acknowledgement of its renowned bicycle infrastructure. It's realizing a paradise for bicycling people by establishing the bicycle culture as a way of life through consistent & continual policy promoting the use of bicycles. |

| Bicycle paths in Yangcheon Gu can be used not only for leisure sports but for commuting, shopping & attending school. On bicycle paths around Anyang Creek with cool wind, you can ride across Seoul along the Han River and ride to Anyang, Gyeonggi Do. |

| The Bicycle track over the bridge is a representative symbol that proves Yangcheon Gu is a Bicycle City, and a 'viaduct' to connect the Central Axis of Mokdong via bicycle path with Anyang Creek. You can cross Anyang Creek on foot or by bicycle, pram & wheelchair using this bridge. |

| Over 180 bicycle drop-off spots at subway stations, schools & public facilities are installed in the pent roof type to protect bicycles from rain, snow & sunlight. In addition, electric air pump for bicycle tires is installed to make bicycle use more convenient. |

Do you need a bicycle suddenly during your weekend outing? You don't have to worry about it. You can borrow a bicycle at any time from the Free Bicycle Lending stand on the eastern side of the Youth Center. All you need is to present your ID card.

RFID is attached to all bicycles of the 'Green Network', public unmanned lending system, and manufactured in a unique design to indicate they belong to Yangcheon Gu so it's possible to prevent theft. And it's expected to be Yangcheon’s best bicycle policy. | |
